About
25 years.
One obsession.
I'm Carl Prewitt JR, a web developer and designer working from Annona, Texas · Red River County. I've spent my whole adult life learning how to make the web faster, cleaner, and more beautiful, and I'm just getting started.
I never took the easy road. Everything I know, I taught myself, starting back in 2002 with nothing but curiosity, a community of artists on DeviantArt, and a friend willing to point me in the right direction. There was no bootcamp, no shortcut. Just the work.
For most of those years, web development was a passion that paid in pieces: a big job here and there, but never quite enough to do it full-time from home. That's exactly what I'm changing now. I've sharpened decades of instinct into a modern craft, and I'm ready to pour all of it into your project.
When you hire me, you're not getting a template and a markup. You're getting someone who has hand-built the web since before half of today's tools existed, and who genuinely cares whether your site loads fast, ranks well, and makes you proud.
